We’re told that we’re “too nice” a lot. Too nice because we feel bad sending back food at a restaurant. Too nice because we don’t lay on the horn when someone cuts us off. Too nice because we don’t storm into our boss’ office demanding a raise. Like it’s a bad thing. Like it’s something we should stop. Like being nice equals people being able to push us around. Wait….does it? Would we be happier and making more money if we stopped being nice?
We don’t know the answer, do you? The Too Nice Project is a place where you can tell us your stories about being too nice. And how being too nice messed up your life.
Don’t worry, we won’t post your name if you don’t want us to – we’re nice.
